I rather enjoyed this book from our President to be. Although in the end it was not as profound or transformational a work as I had initially expected it to be, the book did give a honest and enjoyable glimpse into the mind of Barack - a good mind, a reasonable mind, a fair mind.
What I enjoyed most was one of the earlier chapters in the book where Barack provided a highly informative explanation of how our legislative process works and what makes it so difficult, even for the most honest politician, to stay out of controversy or compromise. Barack's suggestions for how to reform the process so as to minimize the influence of lobbyists was just brilliant. Most importantly, after reading the book, I feel comfortable imagining this man running our country. I think it will be in good hands, in the hands of someone both highly intelligent and possessing modern values mixed with common sense. We will do well with Barack in the highest office.
